Wilber Lake Sunset, North Algona Wilberforce Twp. near Eganville, Ontario, Canada K0J 1T0
It’s getting to be that time of year again. Summer is bidding us a hasty adieu and the air is changing a bit with just a hint of autumn scenting the gentle breezes.
Summer leaves us in a blaze of splendor. Some of the most glorious sunsets seem to be reserved for this time of year. This lovely picture of a beautiful Wilber Lake sunset was taken by Charlotte Schaven, a year-round resident of North Algona Wilberforce Township in Renfrew County, Ontario Canada.

The evenings are starting to close in a bit, too. I like this time of year. The transition between summer and fall always brings a promise of new beginnings. I still look forward to starting back to school, even though I haven’t actually started back to school for many a long year now. So I shift my focus from the schoolroom to the ‘new projects’ room and always find something new to undertake at this time of year.
