Renfrew County: Fall Colors Along the Bonnechere

Renfrew County at any time of the year is a photographer’s paradise. Autumn in “The Valley” on a sunny crisp day is just a little bit of heaven here on earth! The colors are glorious; the scenery – spectacular!

Bonnechere River in Renfrew County

This picture was taken along the beautiful Bonnechere River shoreline in North Algona, Wilberforce Township just upstream from the Village of Eganville. The Bonnechere River flows through the heart of the Ottawa Valley and is now under the watchful eye of the Bonnechere River Watershed Project.

Foodland Eganville, Spooktacular Sightings

On one of my regular rambles to Ron Nelson’s Foodland Grocery on Highway 60, Eganville, Ontario, I was delighted to find a wonderful display of fall harvest bounty and wannabe spooks in the entranceway to the store. The display didn’t last long – customers were delighted with the offerings and beat a speedy retreat to the cash register with their autumnal treasures!
